Wings Over Miami Museum

posted by Brasil-Miami

Wings Over Miami Air Museum preserves the rich heritage of commercial, military, and general aviation. Begun as the Weeks Air Museum in 1986, it is located at Miami’s Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport. Through displays and interactive programs, Wings Over Miami shares the excitement and history of aviation with all museum visitors, especially the youngsters who represent the next generation of aviators and space explorers. Twenty military and classic prop-driven and jet aircraft on display are routinely flown. The gift shop offers books, models and kits, aviation prints, aviation apparel, and aviation memorabilia.
